Career Provenance Analysis

Disclaimer

Last updated: June 2026 · Applies to all Career X-Ray outputs and Examiner's Assessments

TechCredalyst is not a background-check provider, employment verification service, or hiring decision-maker. We provide signal analysis and professional assessment to inform — not replace — your own hiring judgment.

Nature of Our Service

TechCredalyst applies a seven-dimension forensic framework to evaluate the internal coherence, consistency, and plausibility of submitted career experience claims. This is a form of pattern and signal analysis — it identifies statistical and linguistic patterns associated with embellished, AI-assisted, or fabricated career narratives.

It is not, and does not claim to be, any of the following:

Risk Scores Are Indicators, Not Facts

The Provenance Score™, fabrication signal flags, and dimension scores produced by TechCredalyst are probabilistic risk indicators derived from textual pattern analysis. A high Provenance Score indicates an elevated statistical likelihood that claimed experience may not fully reflect demonstrated reality — it is not proof of fabrication, dishonesty, or wrongdoing by the candidate.

Conversely, a low Provenance Score does not guarantee that all claims in a resume are accurate or that a candidate is suitable for a role. Our analysis evaluates the coherence of stated claims; it does not independently verify facts against external records.

Every Examiner's Assessment reflects the professional opinion of a human examiner applying the TechCredalyst framework. It is advisory analysis — not an automated, algorithmic, or legally binding determination.

Hiring Decisions Remain Yours

TechCredalyst outputs — whether from the free Career X-Ray tool or a paid Examiner's Assessment — are intended to inform a hiring process, not to replace independent judgment, structured interviewing, reference checks, or any other due diligence step your organisation would normally undertake.

The decision to interview, validate further, extend an offer, or decline a candidate remains entirely the responsibility of the hiring organisation. TechCredalyst assumes no liability for hiring outcomes, including but not limited to decisions made in reliance on a Career X-Ray result or Examiner's Assessment.

No Warranty of Accuracy

While TechCredalyst's framework is designed to surface meaningful signal, language pattern analysis is inherently probabilistic. False positives (flagging genuine experience as higher-risk) and false negatives (missing genuinely fabricated claims) are both possible. We make no warranty, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any score, flag, or recommendation produced.

Candidate Fairness

We encourage organisations using TechCredalyst to treat Career X-Ray and Examiner's Assessment outputs as one input among several in a fair, holistic hiring process — not as an automatic disqualifying mechanism. Candidates should be given the opportunity to address and clarify any signal flags through direct conversation, consistent with applicable employment law in your jurisdiction.

AI Use Disclosure

AI tooling is used internally as a signal-surfacing aid in the preparation of Examiner's Assessments. All final conclusions, scores, and recommendations reflect human professional review and judgment before delivery. The free Career X-Ray tool generates structured analytical output based on the Career Provenance Analysis framework. Outputs should be interpreted as assessment signals rather than verified findings.

No Employment or Legal Advice

TechCredalyst does not provide legal advice, employment law advice, human resources consulting, or professional licensing determinations. Examiner's Assessments and Career X-Ray outputs are professional analytical opinions — they are not legal opinions, HR determinations, or regulatory findings. Users should seek appropriate qualified professional advice for employment law, data protection compliance, or hiring regulation questions specific to their jurisdiction.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TechCredalyst and its operators disclaim liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or reliance on, any Career X-Ray result, Examiner's Assessment, or related output, including but not limited to hiring decisions, employment outcomes, or business losses.
