Overview
TechCredalyst operates a Career Provenance Analysis practice. In the course of providing the Career X-Ray tool and Examiner's Assessment service, we process resume text, experience claims, and role context submitted by users. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it is handled.
We do not require candidate identity to run an assessment. Submitting a resume for analysis does not require the subject's name, contact details, or any government identifier.
What We Receive
- Experience claims — resume text, LinkedIn summaries, or raw career narrative pasted into the Career X-Ray tool.
- Role context — job titles or job descriptions submitted alongside a resume for role-specific analysis.
- Contact information — work email address, submitted only when requesting an Examiner's Assessment or unlocking Validation Probes.
- Usage data — standard, anonymised analytics (page views, session duration) via Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies or track individuals across sites.
How It's Processed
Free Career X-Ray analysis is generated through a deterministic, session-scoped process. Inputs submitted to the free Career X-Ray tool are processed solely for the purpose of generating the requested analysis and are not retained after the session concludes.
Paid Examiner's Assessments are processed with the assistance of AI as a private signal-surfacing aid, but every assessment is reviewed and finalised by a human examiner before delivery. AI is not the source of the final recommendation — professional judgment is.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not use submitted resume content to train any AI model, ours or any third party's.
- We do not sell, rent, or broker candidate data to recruiters, employers, or data brokers.
- We do not share submitted resume content with any party other than the individual who submitted it, except as required by law.
- We do not run background checks, verify employment history with employers, or contact candidates or their references directly.
Storage & Retention
Free Career X-Ray analysis is session-scoped. Resume text submitted to the free tool is not persisted to a database; it exists only for the duration needed to generate your result.
For paid Examiner's Assessment requests, submitted information (work email, candidate role target, context notes, and the resume or claims being assessed) is retained only for as long as necessary to deliver the assessment and respond to related correspondence — typically no longer than 90 days unless a longer retention period is requested by the submitting party for record-keeping purposes.
Third-Party Processors
We use the following third-party services to operate TechCredalyst:
- Formspree — processes form submissions (Examiner's Assessment requests, probe-unlock emails). See Formspree's own privacy policy for their data handling terms.
- Plausible Analytics — provides privacy-respecting, cookieless website analytics.
Your Rights
If you have submitted information to TechCredalyst — whether your own experience claims or a candidate's, with their knowledge — you may request:
- Confirmation of what data we hold related to your submission.
- Deletion of submitted data, subject to any active assessment in progress.
- Correction of inaccurate contact information on file.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
Security
TechCredalyst uses commercially reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect submitted information. No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, or misuse of submitted materials. In the event of a data breach that materially affects your submitted information, we will notify affected parties as required by applicable law.
Candidate Data — A Note for Submitting Parties
If you submit a candidate's resume or experience claims for analysis, you confirm that you have a lawful basis to do so (typically, that the candidate has applied for or is being considered for a role with your organisation, and that resume submission is reasonably expected as part of that process). TechCredalyst relies on the submitting party — not the candidate — for this representation.
Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with this policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
