Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TechCredalyst's website, Career X-Ray tool, or Examiner's Assessment service (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Description of Service
TechCredalyst provides Career Provenance Analysis — a signal-based assessment of submitted career experience claims, evaluated against a proprietary seven-dimension framework. The Service includes:
- A free Career X-Ray tool that generates a Provenance Score, dimension breakdown, fabrication signal flags, and validation probes from submitted resume text.
- A paid Examiner's Assessment, a human-reviewed deliverable provided on request, currently offered through a limited-capacity Beta Pilot Program.
Permitted Use
You may use the Service to evaluate experience claims for legitimate hiring, recruiting, or talent-evaluation purposes. You agree not to use the Service to:
- Submit content that infringes the privacy or legal rights of any individual.
- Harass, defame, or discriminate against any candidate on a basis prohibited by applicable law.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract the underlying methodology, scoring logic, or framework of the Service.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute Career X-Ray or Examiner's Assessment outputs as your own independent product or service.
- Submit content on behalf of a candidate without a reasonable, good-faith basis for doing so in the context of an active or prospective hiring process.
Eligibility
The Service is intended for use by hiring managers, recruiters, technical leaders, and organisations evaluating candidates for employment. By using the Service, you represent that you are using it for legitimate professional hiring purposes.
Intellectual Property
The Career Provenance Analysis methodology, the seven-dimension framework, the Provenance Score™, the fabrication signal pattern taxonomy, all associated branding, and the structure and content of Career X-Ray and Examiner's Assessment outputs are the intellectual property of TechCredalyst. Nothing in these Terms grants you a licence to use TechCredalyst's methodology, framework, or branding outside the ordinary use of the Service for your own hiring purposes.
Resume text and experience claims you submit remain your property (or that of the candidate, as applicable). By submitting content, you grant TechCredalyst a limited licence to process that content solely for the purpose of generating your requested analysis.
Payment Terms
The Career X-Ray tool is currently provided free of charge. The Examiner's Assessment is currently offered through a Beta Pilot Program on a limited-capacity basis; pricing and engagement terms for paid assessments are confirmed directly with the requesting party prior to delivery. Future pricing structures, if introduced broadly, will be reflected on the Service and communicated to users in advance.
No Guarantee of Outcome
TechCredalyst does not guarantee any specific hiring outcome, candidate behaviour, or business result from use of the Service. See our Disclaimer for a full explanation of the nature and limitations of our assessments.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
Employment Decision Responsibility
TechCredalyst provides advisory assessments only. Users remain solely responsible for all employment, interviewing, hiring, promotion, contracting, or termination decisions made in connection with or following use of the Service. Nothing in the Service constitutes legal, employment, human resources, or hiring advice. Assessments are inputs to your judgment — not substitutes for it.
Candidate Consent and Lawful Basis
Where you submit information relating to a candidate, employee, or prospective employee, you represent that you have all rights, permissions, and lawful bases necessary to provide such information for analysis. This includes confirming that the candidate has applied for, or is being actively considered for, a role with your organisation, and that submitting their experience claims for provenance analysis is consistent with the basis on which that information was originally provided to you.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TechCredalyst and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including hiring decisions made in reliance on any output of the Service.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TechCredalyst from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights — including a candidate's privacy or employment rights — in connection with content you submit.
Modifications to the Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including features of the Career X-Ray tool or the availability of the Examiner's Assessment Beta Pilot Program, without prior notice.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
